My HiME is about 13 girls at Fuuka Academy who has mysterious powers and they have to battle these monsters called Orphans. However, there's something ominous going on at the academy and it gets really dark, tragic, and angsty from episodes 16 onwards. The greatest thing about this series is seeing how their interactions change over the course of 26 episodes, and they do change dramatically. :] I would recommend it. Most of it is out on DVD in America.
